People use the services whenever in need for advisory help.
The department mediates between services, treats stress,
trauma, personal or family problems.
The department developed supporting projects in order to
solve problems that accrue.
The department runs 4 day clubs for children from broken
homes or with behavior problems.
The department provides personal coaches for children at their
home, whose families or mothers cannot cope with everyday
life.
The department has special trained workers who work in
coordination with officers of the courts.
For the elderly the department has a very wide range of
services, both for the individual and groups.
Such services are:
- Home employment for old people who are bedridden.
- The department has home social clubs. .
- The department runs a food support system Meals on Wheels.
- The department has two daycare centers:
One for old people who are in need for occupation and social
life, and the other for Alzheimer and mentally deliriorated
people.
The department has home visitors who keep an eye especially
on single and lonely old people (bring them medicines.)
groceries, etc.
The department deals with mentally disturbed and ill people.
The department also has a special social worker for the mentally
retarded and developed a special club for them in the
community.
