The founders of Kiryat Bialik were filled with enthusiasm for sport and physical activities. In the early days of the town, a gymnasium was built together with tennis courts and swimming pool.

All the sporting activities are carried out in the schools, the sports and cultural centres.

There are numerous branches of sport, for example; football, basketball, gymnastics using apparatus, artistic gymnastics, swimming, tennis, judo, karate, boxing, French bowls and modern dance. There is a large sports center in Kiryat Bialik, named after the late first Mayor, Mr. Tzvi Karliner. Here one can find all kinds of water sports, health and physical fitness rooms and large expanses of grass around the center. The center has 2 swimming pools, a children's pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. The Kiryat Bialik sportsmen have achieved a high level of attainment in all branches nationwide.
